Fire TV with Downloader

Downloader is a third-party utility that can open the official DVHTV download link directly on a Fire TV.

  1. Install the Downloader app on your compatible Fire TV.
  2. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps and allow Downloader.
  3. Open Downloader and enter DVHTV code 5916646.
  4. Confirm the address begins with downloads.dvhtv.com, then download and install DVHTV.
  5. Open DVHTV and link the TV to your DVHTV account.

If Developer Options is hidden, open Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight your Fire TV device name, and press the center/OK button seven times.

Security: Only install DVHTV from the official downloads.dvhtv.com address or the Downloader code shown on dvhtv.com.

Android TV / Google TV

Download the official APK above, transfer it to the TV using your preferred trusted method, then allow installation from that source when Android asks.

The direct APK is intended for compatible Android-based TV devices. Google Play installations should continue to use the Google Play version.

Supported: compatible Fire OS devices, Android TV, and Google TV.

Not supported by this APK: Amazon Vega OS devices. Vega uses a different app platform and package format.

Billing and account access

Subscriptions for the direct sideload version are managed securely through your DVHTV account on the website. Card information is handled by Stripe and is not entered into the TV app.

DVHTV publishes the exact version and SHA-256 checksum on this page. The checksum lets advanced users confirm the APK has not been altered.
