DVHTV Privacy Policy

DVHTV is operated by DVH Technologies LLC ("DVHTV," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the DVHTV apps, website, account services, device-linking services, and subscription features.

1. What DVHTV is

DVHTV is a media-player application. DVHTV does not provide television channels, programming, IPTV subscriptions, or other third-party media content. Users are responsible for the content sources and provider services they choose to use with the app.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create a DVHTV account, we collect your email address and information needed to authenticate and secure the account. Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes rather than in readable form. We also maintain records related to email verification, password-reset requests, and signed-in account sessions.

Device and licensing information

To link devices and enforce subscription limits, we may collect an app-generated installation identifier, device type or platform, app version, a device display label, activation and deactivation status, and the date or time a linked device last contacted our service.

Subscription and purchase information

When paid features are offered through an app store or billing provider, we may receive information needed to verify your purchase and maintain your entitlement, such as the billing provider, product identifier, subscription status, expiration information, and a protected or hashed purchase reference. DVHTV does not receive or store your full payment-card number from Google Play, Amazon, or other app-store payment processors.

Security and diagnostic information

We maintain limited security and audit records to protect accounts and prevent abuse. These records may include event type, timestamps, account or device references, rate-limit information, and a cryptographic hash derived from an IP address. We use this information for authentication, fraud prevention, security monitoring, troubleshooting, and service reliability.

Support communications

If you contact us for support, we may retain the information you provide in your message and related correspondence so we can respond to your request and improve support.

3. Provider credentials and viewing data

DVHTV is designed so that IPTV/provider URLs, usernames, and passwords are not part of the DVHTV account-linking and licensing service. Provider credentials are intended to remain on the user's device unless a future feature clearly tells you otherwise before information is transmitted.

The DVHTV licensing service does not require Fire TV serial numbers, MAC addresses, Android hardware IDs, or advertising IDs.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• create, authenticate, and secure DVHTV accounts;
• verify email addresses and process password resets;
• link, manage, and deactivate user devices;
• start trials, verify subscriptions, and enforce device limits;
• send account, security, and service-related messages;
• detect abuse, investigate security events, and enforce our terms;
• provide customer support and troubleshoot service issues; and
• comply with applicable law and protect the rights and safety of DVHTV and its users.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate DVHTV, such as hosting, email-delivery, app-store, payment-verification, security, and infrastructure providers. These providers receive information only as needed to perform services for us.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect users or our services, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of the business where permitted by law.

6. Data retention

We retain account and licensing information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide DVHTV, maintain subscription and device records, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect against fraud or abuse. Security and audit records may be retained for a limited period appropriate to those purposes.

7. Your choices and account deletion

You may unlink devices from your DVHTV account. You may also request deletion of your DVHTV account and associated personal information, subject to information we are required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction-record purposes.

8. Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect account information, including password hashing, protected session and device tokens, access controls, and security monitoring. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

DVHTV is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Third-party services and content

DVHTV may interact with third-party content providers, app stores, or services selected by the user. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. DVHTV is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as DVHTV changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
